Director/Counsellor: Bob Bramhill
Bob, along with his wife Gwen, pastored at Gorrie Bible Fellowship in southwestern Ontario for fifteen years, and during that time began to realize the desperate need to provide help for hurting individuals and marriages. After crying out to the Lord for direction, they were lead to be involved with “Biblical Concepts in Counselling” in Colorado in 1999. They began to see individuals and couples resolve emotional and spiritual issues and begin to enjoy the kind of relationships that God intended for them to have.
As the counselling load increased, the Lord led Bob and Gwen to pursue a full time ministry in counselling. As a result, they resigned from pastoring January 1, 2003 and opened a Biblical Concepts in Counselling office in Gorrie. Bob writes: Our desire for individuals and couples is …that their hearts may be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have complete confidence that they understand God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ himself. In him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Colossians 2:2,3.
In August of 2011 the office was moved to Wingham Ontario and their name was changed to “Caring for the Heart Ministries Canada”.
Bob and Gwen continue to enjoy their ever-growing family.

Counsellor: Kathy Allison
Kathy and her husband, Rick had the privilege to attend counselling sessions here at CFTH. “We had no idea the state our hearts were in and the cycle of constantly stepping on each other’s pain. This hurtful cycle caused many struggles, not only in our marriage, but also with our relationships with others.” Little did they know that when Jesus asks us to forgive, He gives grace when we make that choice, and He heals the
pain of our broken hearts.
Kathy has a passion to come alongside people and help them explore their hearts. She desires to see people meet Jesus in their brokenness and witness the healing that only Jesus can perform.
Kathy and her husband, Rick live in Bancroft, Ontario. They have 4 amazing adult children, three of which are married which has added three more special people to the clan and to top that off, 3 fun-loving grandkids.

Counsellor: Bethany Horst
Bethany was led by the Lord to resign from her teaching career at a small Mennonite school to join the CFTH office in 2013. Out of her own story of abuse was born a deep desire to provide a safe place for hurting girls and women.
Bethany has known the pain of a broken heart. She also knows the deep peace and joy that follows the divine touch of Jesus the Healer. God has given her a passion to lead others to experience His divine touch of healing.
Counsellor : Susan Martin
Susan Martin had the privilege of receiving counseling from Caring For The Heart Ministries to work through emotional and spiritual issues in her own life. Through that experience, God has exchanged her previously hardened heart with a soft heart that wants to care about other people. She then felt led by the Lord to pursue the counselling ministry as a way of spreading the love of Jesus to others, allowing God to use what He has done in her life to help other ladies find healing and freedom from the things that may be hindering them in their relationship with God.
Counsellors: Henry and Tina Schmitt
Henry, alongside his wife, Tina, has been serving as a minister of the gospel since 2018.
Having gone through difficult and challenging circumstances in their own lives, they felt the need to resolve their issues and get healing from them. Thought Caring for the Heart, the Lord has healed them, and they now have a desire to see others come to freedom. Seeing the need in couples and individuals to be healed and set free using Biblical concepts, they have felt the call to help others who are dealing with broken hearts and relational issues.

Counsellor: Cheryl Martin
Cheryl first came to Caring for the Heart to fulfill an internship requirement needed to complete her schooling. After witnessing hearts being healed and relationships being restored through the power of forgiveness she felt God leading her to become a part of this ministry.
Cheryl longs to see women walk in the freedom that Jesus died to give them in every area of their lives.
"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." John 10:10
